AnOddBox – Is evil winning…?

I was required to take a Critical Thinking class for my undergrad… Since I am an odd duck I was giddy with excitement for the prospects of this class… To critically think through concepts to establish the least arguable…, most probable…, solid premise… It is Titus 2:6-8… And yes I am such an odd duck…

I was assigned to write a critical assessment on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference campaign in Birmingham, Alabama… I knew the professor absolutely adored Dr. King… I knew all I would have to do was write words of praise…, and it would be an easy “A”… But Lord knows I do not seem to do things easy… What could I write that has not already been written…? I would like to say that I wowed the professor with my critical thoughts, but the professor did not get past my first statement… I had written… Perhaps Dr. King was not… A non-violent protestor…

If you taunt a bull…, say “Bull” Connors..., knowing with the intelligence of Dr. King that the bull is the most linear of violent animals…, can you say as a solid premise that your taunt did not have a violent intent…? One might imagine the stoning look upon my heresy… The accusation that I did not know how it was to fight for a cause… I guess being a war veteran does not count as fighting for a cause…

You would think I would stop there… Before an “F”… As I said I do not do things easy… I continued my critical thoughts by asking… Would you know the face of evil if it wore the face of Dr. King…? At no point did I say that Dr. King was evil… In fact my praise for Dr. King’s legacy is high… My praise however, did not matter as evil had already won…

I laugh as even though I am much older than the child taught of horns and hooves…, they still teach that the face of evil is ugly… How could any critically thinking person rationally suggest that the proclaimed second most powerful entity would seek power by being a horrifying ugly bully…? You know, as simple non-deities, we as humans use techniques to promote advocacy. After the first technique of observation, do you know what is the simplest technique for promoting advocacy…? It is the technique of simply saying…, Hello… How are you… With this technique I say I see you… I consider you… From here it is not far in technique to say…, I care for you… I love you… Now…, do my biding…

Evil is wise… Osama Bin Laden did not attack the Towers… Individual persons did this attack for the biding of a simple technique of say…, Hello… How are you… I care for you… I love you… Now…, do my biding…

So what does Good do…?

There is a writer of posts… The cause in these posts appear to be just to the doing of good… The writer however, uses an age old technique of belittling responders through the use of doctrine and prayer… The writer appears to have intelligence, yet uses the simplest form of sublimation…, and thus I must ask…, Is it sublimation of taunt by means of a socially acceptable platform… Or is it a technique to promote advocacy…?

On TV a protestor for the just cause of Good, gets within a foot of an officer and with a maleficent yell…, Are you going to shoot me too…! No matter the cause…, to taunt a bull… has but only one intent… Note, that the officer did not respond… Therefor..., who was the bull…?

The technique of Good appears to be punching the bull in the nose to proclaim the bull is Evil…

It is thus…, that Evil is winning… For Evil is saying…, Hello… How are you… I care for you… I love you… Now.., do my biding…
