I am on the lookout for an internship site with a larger client base, more flexible hours (pm only-counseling presently), opportunities for group counseling, supervision, potential for growth/hire and is compatible with CACREP program. I would like to stay in the Fox Valley area but have/will travel approximately 40 miles if opportunity is available
To participate in this study, you must: Have an earned doctorate (Ed.D or Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited university Have a master’s degree in Counseling from a CACREP accredited program inclusive of; Clinical Mental Health, Rehabilitation Counseling, and School Counseling. 2-5 years of experience working in your current work setting
Qualifications A doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited university, experience as a practicum/internship supervisor, and eligibility for New York State licensure/certification are required
The successful candidate will be expected to teach appropriate courses in Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology, conduct research in school counseling or school counselor education, engage in scholarly activities, provide leadership within the Counselor Education program, and participate in outreach and service activities including support of the CACREP accreditation process

In addition to advanced curricular experiences in counseling, courses are designed to examine the fundamental issues and theory of teaching adults in higher education, research, supervision, and consultation, and to provide supervised experiences in each area
AGSC is currently undergoing the CACREP Accreditation process
