Your non-billable work is about to get WAY easier

Years ago, I hired an assistant to create the types of forms (superbills and CMS 1500 forms) that I needed to submit to my clients’ insurance each month. That was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. Before that, I used to spend hours doing it myself.

But now there’s a world of products online that offer to automate these and other processes for your private practice. (Even my assistant’s time is now better spent on other things).

So...

How do you choose?

Which one will fit your needs?

Whether it’s reducing no-shows, getting your Informed Consent signed, or streamlining the processes (e.g. scheduling, billing, clinical notes, etc) that are such a time-suck for most therapists, using the right practice management/EHR tool will mean
less unpaid time in the office
getting paid faster for the billable time you spend with clients
a simplified experience for both you and your clients in managing the ancillary tasks associated with their therapeutic care

On August 17, you can join me for a free Q&A-style webinar: How to Choose a Practice Management / EHR Tool. I’ll be teaming up with Howard Spector, the Founder and CEO of SimplePractice, to talk about how to choose the right system for you. You can reserve your spot on the webinar here.
On the blog this week, you can read about 8 tips to reduce no-shows in your therapy practice, compiled by the team over at SimplePractice.

What else do you wish you could streamline in your practice? Pretty much anything you can think of, there is an electronic solution for it. We’ll help you find out how. Feel free to post to this blog with your needs, and we’ll address them in the webinar on August 17.
