Hi ACA Members. I hope someone can assist me as I am getting very frustrated launching my counseling career. I live in Michigan, but am willing to relocate for the appropriate job placement. I graduated from Grand Canyon University 11/07/2018 Magna Cum Laude with a Masters in Addiction Counseling. I have applied to take the CADC exam and waiting for the date and city I am assigned to take it. I am currently unemployed looking for a job in which I can use my degree and collect direct contact hours for my certification/licensure. I am obviously looking for the wrong type of job. What job title should I be looking for so I may work in the counseling field before I take the exam? Any guidance would be GREATLY appreciated! LuAnn Vergolini luannco@yahoo.com
