Study for the CPCE : Neuropsychological Assessments feel free to add to the discussion and talk.

Hello, my name is Devon.
I am currently in Graduate School for mental health counseling. I have decided to do a little blog post about interesting things that I am studying to help myself and others.

I have the CPCE SECRETS STUDY GUIDE by momentrix.
Right now, I am in the third chapter ( Assessment & Testing)
This is all on page 67

Luria -Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery: "used to measure organic brain damage and the location of the damage."

Visual-Motor Gestalt test: "measures brain dysfunction."

I would like to know more about these tests; the book does not say much about them.

The Benton Visual Retention Test :

Jeffrey H. Snow, Clinical Use of the Benton Visual Retention Test for Children and Adolescents with Learning Disabilities,
Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology, Volume 13, Issue 7, October 1998, Pages 629–636, https://doi.org/10.1093/arclin/13.7.629
https://academic.oup.com/acn/article/13/7/629/1856

The Beery Development Test of Visual-Motor Integration : ( they both sound so similar )

It is important to understand these assessments because brain function can create several different issues for our clients.

Anyone have any interesting Articles on any of the topics ?

Thank you for taking the time to read my posts. I apologise for not having it in proper APA format. I figured I could make studying interactive and get good feed back by writing some discussions and have people  answer.

once again thank you
