Bio

Leigh Falls Holman has been a counselor educator teaching in traditional, hybrid, and online formats for 8 years. She has practiced as a clinical mental health professional for 20+ years with a variety of populations and as a clinical and administrative supervisor to mental health professionals. Additionally, she has worked in 2 states as a Professional School Counselor. Dr. Holman has published and presented locally, nationally, and internationally on topics related to counselor job stress/burnout, self-care, process addicitons, and application of neurosequential interventions (including experiential) in clinical and school settings. She is the President-Elect of IAAOC and the Associate Editor of Theory and Practice for the Journal of Mental Health Counseling. She considers herself to be a Relational Psychodynamically oriented therapist who also integrates attachment theory and Bowenian Systems therapy into her practice.
