I am having trouble finding a site for my practicum/internship because of a dearth of willing supervisors in my area (Georgia - Columbus, Newnan, Macon area).

In addition to serving as practicum/internship supervisor, we are especially interested in candidates who have the ability to teach in several of the following content areas: group work, research methods, foundations of clinical mental health counseling, pre-practicum, human growth and development, counseling theory and practice, psycho-diagnosis and psychopharmacology, and crisis counseling. Qualifications A doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited university, experience as a practicum/internship supervisor, and eligibility for New York State licensure/certification are required
AGSC graduates of the Master of Arts in MHC meet the educational and supervision requirements of the New York State licensure NCMHCE exam for eligibility for the LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) licensure

Withdrawal can’t just be entered into willy nilly and in some cases, medical supervision will be necessary.
